Today we received one of the new CX5000 Devices, this is the first one we have received since the RoundTable moved to Polycom.
So as with any RoundTable, I needed to configure it and assumed that I could just use RTManage as I have with all the other versions; using RTManage resulted in an “Unknown Error”, very useful.
After sometime scratching my head, I decided to look at the administrators guide; this resulted me in finding a CX5000 version of RTManage, now known as CX5000Manage.
Once I was able to get this installed, after having to uninstall the original RTManage application as they can not coexist. I was able to configure everything as required.
Slightly annoying the two application can not coexist but not the end of the world.
